Or cycle, just like in Freiburg, always keeping to the Dreisam river. City life or country air? Both!


Space for everyone who simply likes good things.

Small plots, lots of nature, no fuss. But with real people at reception, organic coffee in the kiosk, and an atmosphere that's rarely found: calm, considerate, and cheerful with it. Camping Hirzberg, in short.

Our campsite is small, lovely and pleasantly quiet.

With beautiful old trees and around 85 parking spaces – divided into areas for caravans, Motorhomes, camper vans and tents.

From here, various hiking trails, mountain bike routes, and the beautiful cycle path along the Dreisam start directly.

Something's happening!

Things are peaceful and quiet here? Sometimes. Baden wine, Black Forest ham, French flair. And then there's the so-called Black Forest nature paradise. Okay, some of it is cliché, but most of it is true! It's for good reason that the people of Freiburg like to claim: „We live where other people go on holiday.“

Besides the cuckoo clock idyll, there's also a lot going on here. Nightlife (student city!), a meeting point for outdoor enthusiasts (climbing, biking, boarding), culture & culinary delights (Dreiländereck). So that you don't get stressed out by the variety, our tip: Choose wisely! You don't have to be everywhere. A mix of letting yourself drift, discovering, and setting goals. Just like in life. Here are a few tips and points of contact to help you find your way.

(…QUICKLY) DONE!!!

Since March 1st, we are back and open for you during our usual opening hours, but unfortunately, there will still be some construction work taking place on our pitch until the end of March.

Unfortunately, the weather god hasn't been too kind to us over the past few weeks, so we are a bit behind with the pitch and PV work and almost certainly not be finally finished before the end of March.

We will therefore need to carry out some work on-site from Monday to Friday during the day – this may unfortunately lead to some unusual noise at times.

A good campsite is like a good relationship: to keep it nice, you have to invest. That's exactly what we're doing! At the beginning of the year, in our grand love project: „Sanitary Facilities for the Future“.

From solar power systems to heat pumps, and even showers, toilets, and washrooms. This is how your Hirzberg bathroom will become even hotter, more hygienic, and above all, climate-friendly!
