Enquiry
Enquiries – how it's going
Requests
A request is not yet a booking – just a heads-up.
Because our space is small and privately run, we look at each request individually to see if and how it fits: What is available? How does it fit into the overall picture? In short: we check before we assign a space.
Here's how it works: Fill in the form → We check → You receive an offer → You confirm → We send the booking confirmation.
Then the place is definitively reserved.
Note: If you don't receive a reply after a few days, it's worth checking your Junk folder.
Telephone bookings are only possible on the day of arrival. – for spontaneous guests: feel free to call on the planned arrival day around 11:00 AM to ask about available spaces. If it fits, it fits!
Booking conditions
Reservations are from Early November to end of February from 2 nights Possible.
From From early March to late October from 3 nights.
Shorter stays, if possible at all, incur a one-off surcharge of €15.
You can arrive daily – the exact time is in your reservation confirmation.
Tent reservations
Please state the external dimensions of your tent in your request.
There are a few free parking spaces at the entrance for tent guests, but only in very limited numbers – therefore, permanent parking is not possible.
You can of course drive up to the tent for loading and unloading. Unfortunately, you cannot park on the campsite or the tent floors.
Tip: Those who travel by public transport make their lives easier.
Rental units
Rental units (rental cabins and tents, as well as rental caravans) are not available in 2026.

Parking & Arrival
Parking in the square? Sadly no.
You can drive up briefly to unload, after which free parking is available on the street outside the entrance – subject to availability.
We recommend travelling by public transport.
By train and tram
From the main station, take Line 1 towards Littenweiler – ten minutes later: Musikhochschule stop. Go through the underpass, turn left, and keep going straight until you reach the Dreisam river, cross the Max-Müller-Steg bridge, and continue to Kartäuserstraße. Turn left, and after around 30 metres, you'll be standing in front of the entrance.
By car (A5, Freiburg-Mitte exit)
Recommended for motorhomes and caravans over Sat Nav: Drive from the Freiburg-Mitte exit towards the city centre/Titisee, then continue towards Ebnet / Stadien. Move into the left lane, please do not go into the tunnel. Follow the signs for Hirzberg Camping. Turn left at Sandfangweg (Sport Kiefer) and continue to follow the signs.
From the Black Forest (B31)
Before the Freiburg city tunnel, take the Kappel/Littenweiler exit. From there, simply follow the signs for Hirzberg Camping.
