Still the most beautiful sentence of any sat-nav – now just put the indicators on and roll onto the campsite. Welcome to Freiburg!

Before we get to that, here's a little overview of what you can expect from us:

Space availability

Whether it's a tent, caravan, or motorhome – we have space for (almost) everything:

 

  • 85 parking spaces for motorhomes, caravans and campervans (max. 9 metres length)
  • approx. 20 camping pitches on levels with a comfortable wood chip surface
  • Around 30 pitches on a sunny camping field (May–September; gentle slope, little shade)

Cancellation Policy

  • Free of charge up to 5 days before arrival
  • 5–0 days prior: 50 %
  • On the day of arrival or in case of no-show: 100 % (without electricity flat rate)

Cancellations must always be made in writing via email.

Technical & Practical

  • All pitches with electricity hook-up (CEE, 16 Ampere)
  • Central fresh water and wastewater station
  • Important information for our few liner guests with a permanently installed black water tank: Unfortunately, you cannot get this from us NOT Dispose.
  • Excellent drinking water quality across the entire square (directly from the Black Forest – thanks, Badenova)
  • Waste separation Ours Recycling point, right at the entrance, makes it easy. Those who love nature separate. Period.
  • Wi-FiFree. Unfortunately, the speed is technically very limited. We'll keep working on it. Satellite reception? Some trees get in the way.

01 November – 28 February:
09:00 – 12:00 & 16:00 – 17:00

1 March – 31 October:
08:00-13:00 & 15:00–18:00

Main building and services

In our central building you will find:

  • Sanitary rooms with showers, toilets and washbasins
  • Self-catering kitchen
  • Chemical toilet outlet
  • Washing machine and dryer
  • Common room with reading corner
  • A small organic kiosk with small snacks, (truly!) good coffee, all sorts of useful items for camping and cooking, and – pleasant conversation.

Or you leave the kitchen cold and yourselves in the neighbouring Gasthaus zum Stahl serve with a beer garden – for a relaxed end to the day after the city or the Black Forest.

Dogs

Dogs are very welcome. Provided, that you, as pack leaders, accept that there are people who are not as crazy about dogs as you are. Yes, such people exist, and no, they do not need to be converted, but rather – respected.

We therefore ask you to note the following: 

  • Dogs must be kept on a lead in the square at all times. 
  • Please always walk your dog outside the enclosure – this also applies to peeing / marking.
    (Meadows and Dreisam riverbanks reachable in 5 minutes)
  • If a pile „happens“, please collect and dispose of it immediately.
    (Dog waste bags are available at the recycling island)
